CASE STUDY ● VISUAL IDENTITY ● LOGO DEVELOPMENT
PERSONAL BRANDING
For this project, I wanted to create a versatile logo. The purpose of it would be to use it on my business cards, my portfolio, and everything else I wanted to represent me and my craft. The emphasis for this project was to create a logo that symbolized both my artistry and personality.
BUSINESS CARDS
The idea behind using a cardboard-like material was to instill a more handmade, non-commercial feel into the business cards. However, they remain professional in their structure and design. Professionalism + nostalgia seemed like an unlikely duo, but they merge beautifully. The different iterations in how my logo operates between the 2 types of business cards shows its versatility. These designs allude to postage stamps, a symbol I found especially fitting to me. It's an emblem for the ideas of personally greeting, sharing, and sending messages, a concept I want to through my designs.

CONCEPTS & EXPLORATION
On a more personal level, the letter "J" is very special to me because every member of my immediate family has a name that begins with it. During this process, I discovered my love for the letter. Finding the "J" that would fit me was a process that required me to draw out the concepts I wanted to convey.
